How can we judge without knowing?
The APBT is derived from molossi that the ancient Romans used to war and fighting in the arenas, but was forged in the nineteenth century starting with those dogs that up to 700 were indiscriminately called bulldogs. At the end of 800, as a result of crosses between English bulldogs and White Terrier, takes life that dog that subsequently, different selections, will lead to be called American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier.
Born from a selection that it intended to get the perfect fighter ..., the Pit Bull today boasts long and accuratissime genealogies, transcribed strictly on pedigree run by various associations dogs, type l 'ADBA (American Dog Breeders Association) and 'U.K.C. (United Kennel Club). It's a dog selezionatissimo and psychomotor skills significantly above average, with a past "uncomfortable" but common to many other races. A past that unfortunately still weighs on his head and that he always fight with the "legend dell'invincibile fighter." The Pit is rather busy with brilliant results in agility, in civil protection, and even teraphy pet dog as drug research and antiesplosivo. Its sides are so many positives that is really stupid and unfair that they are always overshadowed by the negative side ..., aggression toward other dogs.
Of course the Pit Bull, as all races with great character, is not a dog for all ........., requires skills and knowledge by the owner; against a strong educational commitment, however, are enormous satisfactions that this race gives us.
Top off that the question "How much canine breeds do you know?", My response will be
"There are two canine breeds in the world ........, the pit bull and who would be.......".
